Mike Stipe, Owner, Search Consultant
Mike has been helping employers with staffing needs since 1970, starting as a Job Placement Specialist with the Oregon State Employment Division after graduation from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. He then served in a variety of employment consulting capacities, including assisting companies and insurers in returning injured workers to gainful employment. In 1986 he became a franchisee of Express Personnel Services, owning and operating several franchise offices, providing recruiting, search, temporary help, and staffing services to a wide variety of client companies-from small start-ups to large internationals. He assisted the franchisor is selling new offices in several western states, and then helping new franchisees grow their businesses. He continues to operate Express franchise offices in Oregon and Washington that consistently place in the top tier for productivity among the more than 500 Express offices worldwide. Mike now devotes his efforts exclusively to helping GREAT companies in the Travel Plaza/Truck Stop industry and GREAT companies in the Secure Shredding/Information Destruction industry find GREAT new management employees.
